Recently, Distinguished Professor Zhang Lizhi and Associate Professor Yao Yancai from the School of Environmental Science and Engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University has published a research paper entitled "Co Single-atom Reverse Hydrogen Spillover for Efficient Electrochemical Water Dissociation and Dechlorination" in Angewandte Chemie International Edition. This study unveiled the reverse hydrogen spillover effect of Co single-atom electrocatalyst supported on the surface oxide layer of titanium foam to simultaneously promote the generation, transfer, and utilization of atomic hydrogen species in electrochemical water dissociation and dechlorination.
